The Dilemma of Multiple Opportunities

While it is great to have options, it can be nerve racking at times when trying to chose the right one. There are pros and cons to every decision we make, even the positive ones. Lets say you are presented with an opportunity to make more money. Then more than likely, you will have much more responsibility along with less free time to spend with your family or doing other things you enjoy. While it is better to have opportunities than none, it is important to remember that opportunities that we are not prepared for can sometimes be worse than no opportunities at all. I prefer to take the scale up approach. That means gently increasing my load as I see that I can handle more weight (as it pertains to opportunities). This developed philosophy has come after several years of bumping my head and making many mistakes. Think of the opportunities you want to come your way and then begin positioning yourself to take advantage of them.
