I have to give Ray Allen his props for the 3 pointer he made to tie the game and send it into overtime in game 6 of the 2013 NBA finals (though I am neither a Ray Allen or Heat Fan). I believe a powerful principle echoed in this great play for those who were listening. Allen expected that shot to go in because he had practiced, trained, and meditated about that opportunity for some time. When the time came for him to execute, he was ready for it. We must be the same way in the professional sphere. We never know when a great opportunity will come our way. So we have to practice and hone our craft daily if we are to seize it. We will have the confidence to pursue opportunities that arise because we have been in eager expectation of them and we can trust our abilities due to our methodical preparation.
