The Solo-preneurs Secret Weapon (Read Time 0:41)
If you are reading this post, you are probably a solo-preneur (most non-business people don't know what that heck that is). Being a solo-preneur can be tough, you wear pretty much every single hat in your company imaginable (I've learned to outsource certain things). But one thing you have that other entrepreneurial types don't (or don't think to use) is the power of YOU. Your business is the outgrowth of who you are as a person and there is a powerful connection that is formed with your client base because of that. For example, lets say you are a stay at home mom who also creates custom clothing. Your story will connect with other stay at home moms who understand the rigors of that occupation. There is a good chance they will have a stronger desire to buy your clothing than someone else's because you share a common struggle and lifestyle. You are your company and that is a competitive advantage that most solo-preneurs don't realize or use.
