Any Entrepreneur That Will Not Market,Shall Not Eat (Read Time 0:48)

So you've created a great brand new product, service, or some other incredibly genius idea that the world will not be able to live without. That's great, but who cares? I have learned the hard way that it is not enough to just make a beneficial offering. If you don't find a way to get the word out about it, it will not penetrate your market. Social media these days is a double edged sword for today's entrepreneur. It can help you reach a vast sea of potential clients at the click of a button, but it can also be disheartening to see all of the other people clamoring for attention as well. Therefore you must be innovative (and give a lot of thought to) in how you market your creations using a mix of both on and offline communications. You must be clever and strategic about how you present what you are doing and be willing to put in some old fashioned elbow grease to attract a sizable audience. You have to give people a reason to care before they will give you a slice of their attention and some of their trust.
