Make Time To Be Creative (Or Be Drained)!!!

As a creative entrepreneur, I have found it increasingly hard to make time to do what I do best, BE CREATIVE. I know that sounds crazy, but as a small business owner, I wear more hats than I would like to. I play not only the role of creator, but that of bookkeeper, marketer, salesman, research and development, trash man, and the list goes on and on. It's no wonder why I find myself drained. If you allow your passion (and the reason why your company exists anyway) to be drowned out by the other components of the business, then you will lose enthusiasm and eventually want to quit. It's hard enough being a small business owner, a creative one at that. I'm not saying forfeit the other necessary functions and operations that push your company forward, but make sure you aggressively make time to create, everything else will follow if you do (because you'll have the passion to do them).
