Goal Setting: Thoughts of an Entrepreneurial R.E.B.E.L. (Volume 5)
Setting Goals is an absolute must if an entrepreneur wishes to be successful. Goals must be written down and reviewed regularly. If you don't write down your goals and keep them in front of you then you will lack the sense of purpose needed to reach your desired outcome. With goals in place, you will be energized and direct your focus in the right areas that will produce what you envision. Start off by setting short term, highly achievable goals in the beginning as you start this new process. Write them down on a legal pad or a journal and look at them every day. This way, they will stay fresh in your mind and you will find that your sub conscience mind will guide you toward activities that are in step with these goals. Once you achieve a goal, be sure to cross it off your list and move on to the next one. You will discover a sense of power and feel great about yourself (no matter how small the goal). Do this every week for 8 weeks or until a habit forms. Then begin to set larger, more long term goals (which can be broken up into smaller ones). You are now on your way to realizing bigger and better achievements.
