Forget Business, How Do You Run Your Life

Success in business is a direct result from a succesful life. This may not always be the case, but most of the time it is the case. Most successful business owners were successful people way before they began their own enterprises. The character that they developed before they were on the main stage paved the way for their success when they became the one calling the shots. They learned how to work hard, be honest, manage their money correctly, maintain important relationships, take care of their possesions, and other discplines neccessary for success. So to the aspiring business owner I say, before you launch your business, make sure your life already has a good track record. Do you complete projects that you start? Do you keep your word? Are you a self starter? Are you good with managing your personal finances? Do people consider you a dependable person? Answers to questions like these are good indicators of wether or not you will become a successful business owner. Answer them dishonestly at your own peril. Neglect your individual foundation and more than likely your professional building will crumble.
