Plan Your Work-Work Your Plan
An executed business strategy has a better chance of succeeding if you have a plan in place first. This plan acts as a road map to get to your final destination. This plan should include the vision you are pursuing, the time frame in which you will reach cetain goals, the roles of everyone involved, a back up strategy/exit strategy, and what the ultimate outcome (realistically speaking) of your vision should look like. As you progress with your strategy, you may find some gaps along the way in your planning, that is okay as long as you account for them and make the necessary adjustments to your strategy. Its impossible to see everything coming. Life just does not work that way. But a plan gives you a base to work from and helps keep your goals squarely in front of you. As far as it depends on you, when you develop your well crafted plan, stick to it. If you find that this is impossible, rework your plan. Plans are never meant to be rigid, they are meant to be guides, but even guides have to adjust for detours along the way.
