My wife and I were having an interesting conversation last night about how to market our businesses more effectively. It came to mind that crafting a marketing plan and executing it is like digging for gold. Sometimes it take days, weeks, even months to see any results. But once you hit that vein, you will find it easier to get more with less effort. Marketing is also an ongoing process. Once you release a new product or service, you may have to market even more afterwards than before it was released. People have short attention spans especially in this new information era. So it takes a little more effort to retain clientele than it did before. I learned this the hard way. I am actually loving the times we are living in right now because there are so many creative ways to market and most of them are free. There is no excuse why you can't develop a winning marketing strategy using just the internet. You just have to pick up the shovel and start digging. If you have a great product or service, you'll strike the vein eventually.
